Divex is committed to providing expert training in the operation and maintenance of military, commercial and hyperbaric equipment. We achieve this through an extensive range of set courses and tailored training designed to instil the principles and methodology that delivers competent professional divers.
Our full time training officer and instructors are experienced technicians from within the industry, ensuring relevance and familiarity with the latest equipment, technology and safety legislation. Our dedicated training facility includes two multimedia suites and a 3.5 metre dive tank, as well as a number of operational workshops and a test laboratory - in short, everything required to promote competence and expertise.
Divex training comprises approximately forty established 1 and 2-day courses, using the Systems Approach to Training (SAT). These courses cover the operation and maintenance of several popular pieces of equipment and, where appropriate, are endorsed by manufacturers.
In addition to the set courses, Divex has the flexibility to create and run customised or tailor-made courses to suit specific requirements. Our training programmes are conducted at Divex’s purpose-built training facility in Aberdeen, though it is possible to arrange certain types of training at other locations. All courses are run on a ’pass or fail’ basis with Divex certificates being issued to successful trainees. Results of training are also held in our database for auditing and issuing duplicate certificates if needed.
